《老年腫瘤學(xué)雜志》是一本國際性的多學(xué)科雜志，主要致力于促進(jìn)老年癌癥患者發(fā)病機(jī)制、生物學(xué)、治療和生存問題的研究。該雜志涵蓋了老年腫瘤學(xué)的各個方面，從基礎(chǔ)科學(xué)研究到臨床研究，以及與教育和政策制定相關(guān)的研究。本雜志實(shí)行單一的盲審程序。所有稿件將由編輯初步評估是否適合該期刊。被認(rèn)為合適的論文將被發(fā)送給至少兩名獨(dú)立的專家評審人員，以評估論文的科學(xué)質(zhì)量。編輯對文章的接受或拒絕作出最終決定。編輯的決定是最終的。更多關(guān)于同行評審類型的信息。《老年腫瘤學(xué)雜志》發(fā)表了最初的研究文章、評論文章、臨床試驗(yàn)、治療指南、簡短的交流，以及給編輯的信件，編輯對先前發(fā)表的工作發(fā)表評論。《老年腫瘤學(xué)雜志》是國際老年腫瘤學(xué)學(xué)會（SIOG）的官方刊物。

The Journal of Geriatric Oncology is an international, multidisciplinary journal focused on advancing research in the pathogenesis, biology, treatment, and survivorship issues of older adults with cancer. The journal covers all aspects of geriatric oncology, from basic scientific research through to clinical research, as well as research that is relevant to education and policy development.This journal operates a single blind review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor's decision is final. More information on types of peer review. The Journal of Geriatric Oncology publishes original research articles, review articles, clinical trials, treatment guidelines, short communications, and letters to the editor which comment on previously published work.The Journal of Geriatric Oncology is the official journal of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG).
