該雜志的目的是作為一個(gè)論壇，在移植領(lǐng)域以原始和高質(zhì)量論文的形式交流科學(xué)信息。臨床和實(shí)驗(yàn)研究，以及社論、致編輯的信，偶爾也會(huì)發(fā)表關(guān)于組織和器官移植生物學(xué)、生理學(xué)和免疫學(xué)的評(píng)論。后者的出版時(shí)間約為6個(gè)月，前提是不需要進(jìn)行重大修訂。這本雜志每年出版一期，每期包含十二期。提交給期刊的論文將接受同行評(píng)審。

The aim of the journal is to serve as a forum for the exchange of scientific information in the form of original and high quality papers in the field of transplantation. Clinical and experimental studies, as well as editorials, letters to the editors, and, occasionally, reviews on the biology, physiology, and immunology of transplantation of tissues and organs, are published. Publishing time for the latter is approximately six months, provided major revisions are not needed. The journal is published in yearly volumes, each volume containing twelve issues. Papers submitted to the journal are subject to peer review.
