對象:農(nóng)學(xué)、作物/植物科學(xué)、土壤科學(xué)、植物育種、雜草科學(xué)、農(nóng)業(yè)生態(tài)學(xué)、農(nóng)業(yè)氣候?qū)W、農(nóng)業(yè)經(jīng)濟學(xué)、環(huán)境、作物營養(yǎng)、生物技術(shù)、認證作物/土壤咨詢、農(nóng)業(yè)推廣等領(lǐng)域的研究人員。內(nèi)容:有關(guān)土壤-植物關(guān)系的原始研究論文;作物科學(xué);土壤科學(xué);生物統(tǒng)計學(xué);作物、土壤、牧場和牧場管理;農(nóng)作物、飼料、牧草的生產(chǎn)和利用;草坪草;農(nóng)業(yè)氣象學(xué);農(nóng)藝建模;統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù);《生產(chǎn)農(nóng)業(yè)》經(jīng)編輯委員會審定后，在《農(nóng)學(xué)》雜志上發(fā)表。文章應(yīng)該對提高知識或更好地理解現(xiàn)有的農(nóng)藝概念做出重大貢獻。報告的研究必須引起大量科學(xué)家的潛在興趣，如果是針對當?shù)厍闆r，則必須與廣泛的農(nóng)學(xué)知識有關(guān)。關(guān)于文章要求的更多細節(jié)每年都在農(nóng)學(xué)雜志上發(fā)表。由編輯委員會自愿或邀請發(fā)表的評論文章可以刊登在雜志上。非會員的邀請論文，如經(jīng)編輯委員會認可，可經(jīng)總統(tǒng)批準發(fā)表。

Audience: Researchers in the areas of agronomy, crop/plant science, soil science, plant breeding, weed science, agricultural ecology, agroclimatology, agricultural economics, the environment, crop nutrition, biotechnology, certified crop/soil advising, agricultural extension. Content: Articles relating to original research in soil-plant relationships; crop science; soil science; biometry; crop, soil, pasture, and range management; crop, forage, and pasture production and utilization; turfgrass; agroclimatology; agronomic modeling; statistics; and production agriculture are published in Agronomy Journal subsequent to review and approval by the editorial board. Articles should make a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge or toward a better understanding of existing agronomic concepts. The study reported must be of potential interest to a significant number of scientists and, if specific to a local situation, must be relevant to a wide body of knowledge in agronomy. Additional details on requirements for articles are published in Agronomy Journal each year.Review papers that are either volunteered or invited by the editorial board may be printed in the journal. Invitational papers from nonmembers may be published on approval by the president if found acceptable by the editorial board.
