《歐洲土壤生物學(xué)雜志》涵蓋了土壤生物學(xué)的所有方面，涉及土壤中微生物和動物群生態(tài)學(xué)和活動，以及與生態(tài)利益有關(guān)的自然生態(tài)系統(tǒng)或生物群落:生物多樣性、生物保護(hù)、適應(yīng)、全球變化對土壤生物多樣性和生態(tài)系統(tǒng)功能的影響以及受土壤生物影響的污染物的影響和命運(yùn)。考慮到生態(tài)系統(tǒng)結(jié)構(gòu)的不同層次:個體、種群、社區(qū)和生態(tài)系統(tǒng)本身。在每個層次，歡迎不同的學(xué)科方法:分子生物學(xué)、遺傳學(xué)、生態(tài)生理學(xué)、生態(tài)學(xué)、生物地理學(xué)和景觀生態(tài)學(xué)。

The European Journal of Soil Biology covers all aspects of soil biology which deal with microbial and faunal ecology and activity in soils, as well as natural ecosystems or biomes connected to ecological interests: biodiversity, biological conservation, adaptation, impact of global changes on soil biodiversity and ecosystem functioning and effects and fate of pollutants as influenced by soil organisms. Different levels in ecosystem structure are taken into account: individuals, populations, communities and ecosystems themselves. At each level, different disciplinary approaches are welcomed: molecular biology, genetics, ecophysiology, ecology, biogeography and landscape ecology.
