《地理信息系統(tǒng)學(xué)報》是一本國際性的同行評議期刊，它發(fā)表了關(guān)于空間科學(xué)最新進(jìn)展和最佳實(shí)踐的原始研究文章、評論文章和簡短的技術(shù)說明。空間科學(xué)包括了地理用來組織、表示、存儲、分析、建模和可視化信息的所有不同方式。強(qiáng)烈鼓勵提交關(guān)注以下一個或多個主題的手稿：地理信息系統(tǒng)、全球定位系統(tǒng)、遙感和相關(guān)地理空間技術(shù)；地理空間數(shù)據(jù)采集和傳感；地圖和空間推理；空間數(shù)據(jù)基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施；標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化和互操作性；空間數(shù)據(jù)結(jié)構(gòu)與數(shù)據(jù)庫；地理計算；時空分析、整合與建模；空間數(shù)據(jù)質(zhì)量和不確定性；地理信息系統(tǒng)教育與認(rèn)證；地理信息系統(tǒng)與社會；位置隱私；以及基于桌面、移動和網(wǎng)絡(luò)的空間應(yīng)用程序和服務(wù)。

Transactions in GIS is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and short technical notes on the latest advances and best practices in the spatial sciences. The spatial sciences include all of the different ways in which geography may be used to organize, represent, store, analyze, model and visualize information. The submission of manuscripts that focus on one or more of the following topics among others – is strongly encouraged:GIS, GPS, Remote Sensing and related geospatial technologies;geospatial data acquisition and sensing; maps and spatial reasoning;spatial data infrastructures; standardization and interoperability;spatial data structures and databases; geocomputation;spatiotemporal analysis, integration and modeling;spatial data quality and uncertainty;GIS education and certification; GIS and society;location privacy;and desktop, mobile and Web-based spatially-enabled applications and services.
