《獸醫研究》涵蓋了動物健康、人畜共患病和新興疾病的所有科學方面，包括比較醫學研究。它的目標是研究人員、教師、制藥行業和政府機構。它不僅出版定期刊物，包括原創文章、簡短的筆記、提交或征求的評論文章，還出版關于當前主題的特別刊物，在該主題的客座編輯和專家的幫助下。主要研究領域有：免疫學、病毒學、微生物學、寄生蟲學、病理學、發病機制、生理病理學、藥理學、毒理學、流行病學和診斷技術。

Veterinary Research covers all scientific aspects of health, zoonoses and emerging diseases of animals, including studies in comparative medicine. It is aimed at researchers, teachers, pharmaceutical industry and governmental institutions. It publishes not only regular issues including original articles, short notes, and submitted or solicited review articles, but also special issues on current topics, with the help of a guest editor, specialist of the subject. The principal areas of interest are: immunology, virology, microbiology, parasitology, pathology, pathogenesis, physiopathology, pharmacology, toxicology, epidemiology and diagnostic techniques.
