該雜志是捷克和斯洛伐克共和國兩個基本神經科學學科——神經病學和神經外科的重要信息來源。該雜志發表了神經病學和神經外科的全部論文。接受臨床和基礎科學論文。雜志上發表的信息涵蓋了兩個學科的整個領域，從評論文章到病例報告，從專注于神經生理學、理療和神經放射學的臨床工作到涉及電生理學、生物化學、藥理學、遺傳學和分子生物學的工作。

The journal is an essential source of information on the two basic neuroscientific disciplines in the Czech and Slovak Republic - neurology and neurosurgery. The journal publishes original papers from the whole range of neurology and neurosurgery. Both clinical and basic scientific papers are accepted. The information published in the journal covers the whole area of both disciplines from the review articles to case-reports, from clinical works focused on neurophysiology, physiotherapy, and neuroradiology to work concerned with electrophysiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, genetics and molecular biology.
