材料科學(xué)與工程C-生物應(yīng)用材料包括生物醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)與材料工程接口的主題。這些主題包括：?用于醫(yī)療應(yīng)用的仿生材料?醫(yī)用生物源材料?用于“主動(dòng)”醫(yī)療應(yīng)用的材料?用于醫(yī)療應(yīng)用的自組裝和自愈材料?“智能”（即刺激反應(yīng)）醫(yī)療應(yīng)用材料?醫(yī)療用陶瓷、金屬、聚合物和復(fù)合材料?體內(nèi)傳感材料?體內(nèi)成像材料?藥物和疫苗的交付材料?描述和建模醫(yī)療應(yīng)用材料的新方法不含材料科學(xué)成分的生物主題手稿，或不含生物應(yīng)用的材料科學(xué)手稿，將不考慮在材料科學(xué)和工程C中出版。新提交的文件首先對(duì)語言、范圍和原創(chuàng)性進(jìn)行評(píng)估（抄襲檢查），可在審查前被書桌拒絕。如果他們需要改進(jìn)英語語言，超出范圍或與出版資料重復(fù)過多。

Materials Science & Engineering C-Materials for Biological Applications includes topics at the interface of the biomedical sciences and materials engineering. These topics include: ? Bioinspired and biomimetic materials for medical applications ? Materials of biological origin for medical applications ? Materials for "active" medical applications ? Self-assembling and self-healing materials for medical applications ? "Smart" (i.e., stimulus-response) materials for medical applications ? Ceramic, metallic, polymeric, and composite materials for medical applications ? Materials for in vivo sensing ? Materials for in vivo imaging ? Materials for delivery of pharmacologic agents and vaccines ? Novel approaches for characterizing and modeling materials for medical applicationsManuscripts on biological topics without a materials science component, or manuscripts on materials science without biological applications, will not be considered for publication in Materials Science and Engineering C. New submissions are first assessed for language, scope and originality (plagiarism check) and can be desk rejected before review if they need English language improvements, are out of scope or present excessive duplication with published sources.
