中文簡介

生態(tài)學(xué)發(fā)表關(guān)于生態(tài)學(xué)研究基本要素的文章。重點放在簡明，清晰的文章記錄重要的生態(tài)現(xiàn)象。該雜志出版了一系列廣泛的研究，包括主題、技術(shù)、方法和概念的快速擴展:通過現(xiàn)代現(xiàn)象的古生態(tài)學(xué);進化、種群、生理、群落和生態(tài)系統(tǒng)生態(tài)學(xué)以及生物地球化學(xué);包括描述，比較，實驗，數(shù)學(xué)，統(tǒng)計和跨學(xué)科的方法。

Ecology publishes articles that report on the basic elements of ecological research. Emphasis is placed on concise, clear articles documenting important ecological phenomena. The journal publishes a broad array of research that includes a rapidly expanding envelope of subject matter, techniques, approaches, and concepts: paleoecology through present-day phenomena; evolutionary, population, physiological, community, and ecosystem ecology, as well as biogeochemistry; inclusive of descriptive, comparative, experimental, mathematical, statistical, and interdisciplinary approaches.
