《技術與文化》是一本杰出的技術史雜志，它利用不同學科的學術成果，為廣大讀者和專家出版富有見地的作品。訂戶包括科學家、工程師、人類學家、社會學家、經濟學家、博物館館長、檔案管理員、學者、圖書管理員、教育工作者、歷史學家和許多其他人。除了學術論文外，每期還包括30-40篇書評和對新博物館展覽的評論。為了闡明重要的辯論并引起對特定主題的關注，期刊偶爾會發表專題性的文章。技術與文化是技術史學會的官方刊物（shot）。

Technology and Culture, the preeminent journal of the history of technology, draws on scholarship in diverse disciplines to publish insightful pieces intended for general readers as well as specialists. Subscribers include scientists, engineers, anthropologists, sociologists, economists, museum curators, archivists, scholars, librarians, educators, historians, and many others. In addition to scholarly essays, each issue features 30-40 book reviews and reviews of new museum exhibitions. To illuminate important debates and draw attention to specific topics, the journal occasionally publishes thematic issues. Technology and Culture is the official journal of the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT).
