蜱蟲和蜱傳疾病是一份國際同行評議的科學期刊。它出版原始的研究論文、簡短的通訊、最先進的微型評論、給編輯的信、臨床案例研究、有關國際會議的公告和社論。該雜志涵蓋范圍廣泛，匯集了各種學科，例如動物學、微生物學、分子生物學、遺傳學、數學模型、獸醫學和人類醫學。多學科研究方法和(在實地和實驗室)使用傳統和新的方法/方法對深入了解導致人類或動物疾病的自然過程和人類行為/活動以及蜱蟲和蜱媒病原體的經濟影響至關重要。這種了解對以有效和環境可接受的方式管理蜱蟲種群和蜱蟲傳播的疾病至關重要。

Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal. It publishes original research papers, short communications, state-of-the-art mini-reviews, letters to the editor, clinical-case studies, announcements of pertinent international meetings, and editorials.The journal covers a broad spectrum and brings together various disciplines, for example, zoology, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, mathematical modelling, veterinary and human medicine. Multidisciplinary approaches and the use of conventional and novel methods/methodologies (in the field and in the laboratory) are crucial for deeper understanding of the natural processes and human behaviour/activities that result in human or animal diseases and in economic effects of ticks and tick-borne pathogens. Such understanding is essential for management of tick populations and tick-borne diseases in an effective and environmentally acceptable manner.
