生物化學提供了一個國際論壇，在所有生物化學領域發表杰出的、嚴謹的、高影響的研究。這一范圍廣泛的研究包括化學、物理、機械和/或生物或細胞功能的結構基礎，包括化學生物學、合成生物學、疾病生物學、細胞生物學、核酸生物學、神經科學、結構生物學和生物物理學。除了傳統的研究論文外，生物化學還發表交流、觀點和觀點，以及一些對生物化學社區特別感興趣的新方法的實驗論文。

Biochemistry provides an international forum for publishing exceptional, rigorous, high-impact research across all of biological chemistry. This broad scope includes studies on the chemical, physical, mechanistic, and/or structural basis of biological or cell function, and encompasses the fields of chemical biology, synthetic biology, disease biology, cell biology, nucleic acid biology, neuroscience, structural biology, and biophysics. In addition to traditional Research Articles, Biochemistry also publishes Communications, Viewpoints, and Perspectives, as well as From the Bench articles that report new methods of particular interest to the biological chemistry community.
